With our organic wine we fulfill a double objective: respect the natural environment and, for the other, get a higher quality product. Garmendia is a product in which all flavors, aromas and active ingredients of the wine are manifested as such: whole and unadulterated. Savoring it is tasting the essence of an authentic product, free of chemicals and other harmful agents.
Our agricultural practices and production have been endorsed by the quality of our wines, which receive approval from the Organic Production Certification and the control of Ecological Regulatory Council of Castilla y León.

From how we work the vineyard to the winery, we take care of all the details in the preparation of our wines. Unlike other conventional wines, produced massively without taking into account the environmental impact and using products such as pesticides or preservatives during the cultivation of the grapes and in the production process. On our farm in Vizmalo (Burgos) we have more than 40 hectares that we cultivate following the principles of organic agriculture, with the respect for the environment as a maxim and using only natural means.
Our wine has been made with certified organic grapes. These have been harvested by hand and chosen with care at the best moment of its maturation. In this way we guarantee the optimal quality of our raw material.
The entire production process of our vineyards is carried out naturally, from pruning to harvesting, working side by side with nature. On the other hand, it is worth noting that We do not use any type of chemical synthesis product either in the vineyard or in the subsequent production and aging. of the broth in our organic wineries.

White wine made with Verdejo and Viura grapes from our organically farmed vineyards on the Santa Rosalía estate.
WINEMAKING: The manual harvest passes through the selection table and is fermented at a controlled temperature.
BREEDING: Once fermentation is completed, the wine is aged on fine lees for two months.

Rosé wine made only with Tempranillo and Garnacha grapes from our organically farmed vineyards on the Santa Rosalía estate.

GARMENDIA PRIVATE COLLECTION
Red wine made with Tempranillo 100% grapes from our organically farmed vineyards on the Santa Rosalía estate.
VINIFICATION: Grapes from our oldest vineyards, manually harvested in 20kg boxes and subsequently selected at the table. Maceration for 20 days and malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels.
BREEDING: In French oak barrels for 30 months. Then, aged in the bottle for 2 years.
TASTING NOTES: Intense aromas of black fruits, violets and minerals, intertwined with spices, toffee and coffee. Persistent.
